Planting Is Never Easy

I was very surprised that the Mayor sent me an apple tree as a gift, which I sold in the market for 200. The amount was not that much but it really helped me a lot to start raising my own little farm. I was able to plow more lands, bought seeds and trees too.

For two consecutive days, I won 200 from lottery draws…

Three of my grape trees, with four hours before harvest time, were gone to waste yesterday. I have to be careful next time so I won’t waste money and effort because it gives me sadness too. I tried again planting rice, potatoes and corns. The apples might also be ready by tomorrow. Indeed, harvest time is exciting.

I still do not have any neighbors up to now; my farm is still surrounded with empty lots. I have never been hired to work in someone else’s farm because I am still new in this farming business.

Welcome to Meeyeow Ville.

Coping With Something I Really Wished For

Ever since I really wanted to be part of a team, with cool and brilliant team mates of course, because you know for almost a year I was on my own. And now, I am very fortunate to be part of my fourth development project in the company.

MOSS 2007, WSS 3.0, CAML, AJAX, VS2008, C#.Net, Ent Lib 4.1, STSDev 1.3b and two very talented colleagues, what else could I ask for? However, working with this is giving me an extra mile of exhaustion than I originally anticipated.

Next time, I should be careful with what I wish for.

MJ’s Death

What a coincidence that Warren, Zeny, Gems and I were bullying Michael Jackson last Thursday night during our dinner break and then he suddenly died the next day. I was really in shocked when I heard it from the news channel, not because MJ was really dead but with the fact that we were talking about him out of nowhere last night and really bullied him.

We would better talk about our enemies during our dinner break. :D

Oops, that’s bad and evil! Sorry. Actually, it was Warren’s idea.

Bananasplit

I enjoy Sabado midnights watching Bananasplit, a gag show created by Bobot Mortiz, and casted with funny celebrities. I can’t wait to see NNNN segment with Crissy and Boy, and the one with Zanjoe as the ‘hunk’, John Pratts as the ‘cool dude’ and Jayson Gainza as the ‘bading’. :D

 Happy weekend!

Gabu's 3rd Birthday Party

Ate Rina’s son, Gabu, is turning three on June 24th. A double celebration was held this afternoon for Gabu and his Dad’s birthday {last June 16th}. Not everyone I expected to see were there but at least Sharon Ibabao, the long lost ITC babe, surprised me for being there. :D She’s the same bubbly Shawi I have known since college, except that she’s a fulltime mom now.

Here's Gabu wearing his cute smile.

The rest of the pictures are here.

Next party is Ate Lanie's OR Madie's 1st Birthday. :D

Happy Father's Day, Tatay

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there.

Our gifts and cards for the daddies.

Here's Jaja's work.Here's Jelly's.

I just wrote the words I never say often to DaddyDemz.

Broken Sandals

Just recently I tripped over a tilted sidewalk in Makati. The straps part for the toes broke off. It was sooooooo embarrassing for me to walk with one bare foot while holding the other 2 ½-inch broken sandal. Hehehe, maniwala kayo, nakakahiya talaga. I think everyone was staring at me for quite sometime until I got my taxi.

I heard a sidewalk Vendor said: “Ay naku sayang naman.”
All I can think of was… “Oh God, why me?”

When I arrived at the building, eight minutes late by the way, everyone at the lobby was smiling. At the office, Zeny was generous enough to lend me her slippers so I could go out and buy a new pair shoes at Ayala. I was ready to let go of my favorite sandals until Manong Guard suggested that I bring it to Mr. Quickie nearby. Luckily, I didn’t have to spend more money because for just a few sewing and gluing, my sandals were almost looking brand new again. :D

It was just another topic to laugh about during our break.

Putol Doesn't Bark

My three-month old dog, Putol, doesn’t bark. I should be happy that I have a very quiet dog but it really bothers me a lot. I am sure he is not deaf because he responds by wiggling his little bob tail when I snap my fingers and call his name. He just cries whenever my cats scratch his head really bad, especially during feeding time… pero walang “aw…aw” bark talaga.

...ano kaya ang nasa isip nya?

Road To 55 (Part II)

Road to 55 (Part II)

I’m on my halfway to my goal! Yey! Just a few more calories I think I can make it to my target weight. Maybe that is why I love eating pasta and pizza because these foods are rich in carb, great for gaining some load.

New Hair

Welcome to my shoulder length hair. I don’t have a proper reason why I had my hair cut aside from beating the boredom I guess.

I still miss my long hair.

Snatchers Magnet

I really hate the feeling when I am in the middle of hold-ups and snatching situations. I don’t know why I bother writing this. The truth is, writing these makes me upset and remember all of my alarming experiences with thieves. The last one was Wednesday midnight on my way home.

Up

I can’t wait to see this movie. I have watched the trailer from a Disney site and made me more excited! The movie was already opened in US theaters last week with multi million sales on the first day. This is another creation of Pixar.

Flu Protection

For P390.00, I am now protected from flu for a year –- unfortunately, not the A(H1N1) flu virus, by the way. I can really feel that I am a little bit more protected now. No sneezing, no runny nose and no cough for almost two weeks now. Aside from my daily intake of Centrum, I also take ascorbic acid. I definitely need these extra protections because of my work schedule.

Half Priced Pizza

If you are on a tight budget, try visiting Joey Pepperoni Pizzeria and get 50% off on all pizza. Sounds inviting… hell Yeah! Their pastas and paninis are great too!

Doll Domination

Another half priced item is my Pussycat Dolls concert ticket on July 11. Original price is P2,800.00 and I only need to buy Clear 200ml shampoo to enjoy the 50% off. I am excited but the weather worries me. Is there something like a ‘moon dance’?

French Open

As I write this post I am also watching Safina(1) and Kuznetsova(7) finals and the latter just won. Tomorrow is the big day for Roger Federer and also for me! I still dream of watching tennis live someday.

Sims 3 is Out!

It all started out of curiosity from one of the late Ernie Baron’s episode of ‘Knowledge Power’ then became a hobby. I really love the house designing part and the game itself.

Going back to Sims 3, I’d definitely like to have this game. New features and storylines of course. I just need to buy new computer and give this tired laptop a break. I am looking forward to build there a family I can’t have so far in real life.
